The Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union (OSSU) Board of Directors works to ensure equal educational opportunities for all students in the region. It seeks to operate as effectively and as efficiently as possible, supporting and supervising the superintendent with a unified set of priorities.
It is responsible for governing the Supervisory Union as required by law. Under VT state statute, the supervisory union board has eleven areas of responsibility.
The OSSU board is comprised of officers from each member school district.
Unless otherwise stated in the agenda, our school board meets the first Tuesday of the month from 6 - 8 PM in the OSSU Central Office in Hardwick. All meetings are open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend.
